I partnered with ASP during a leadership transition to evolve the brand into a clearer, more confident expression of the firm today and where it’s headed next. The goal was to position ASP as a confident leader, attracting both new clients and fresh energy internally. I designed an identity grounded in structure and motion, pairing a bold visual language with a disciplined system built for everyday use. Grids, templates, and an evolved color system were developed to support internal documentation while maintaining clarity and consistency across external communications.

Through deep conversation with Heather Kim, we uncovered a much stronger truth: her entrepreneurial grit, her relationship to family, her love of music, and the resilience behind her story. That insight reshaped everything. We renamed the brand and built an identity rooted in tradition, infused with modern Western cultural energy, and crafted as a design system that could turn packaging into an object you’d want to keep. The work earned a Silver at The Dieline and led to a First Round stage talk, sharing the process behind the presentation.

Creating a stamp for Canada Post’s Diwali 2024 issue marked a meaningful milestone for me personally and for the studio. Being able to design something so small, yet capable of traveling into people’s homes and carrying light and joy, was an absolute honour. I led the creative direction and concept, focusing on Lakshmi and the third day of Diwali, centered on prosperity, gratitude, and light. The design draws from Lakshmi’s iconic mudras and symbolic gestures, and was brought to life in collaboration with Reena Mistry of Humble Raja, who absoultey nailed the illustration.
